Just to update....Last night, there was a meeting here on campus and students got to ask questions to LSU Chancellor Mark Emmerett, and Police Cheif Pat Englade. I didn't even know they were having such a meeting (I don't think they told many people about it). The students were asking questions about having all LSU employees and students swabed for DNA. They were told that there wasn't enough money to swab everyone, but if the public keeps calling in tips, they will investigate each tip.

Govenor Foster says "Money is not an object", yet he also says that "NO ONE has contacted me asking for money" (for the serial killer case).

If Gov. Foster leaves it up to the police, they will NEVER ask for money to catch this guy. Gov. Foster needs to speak out and tell the police that this is UNACCEPTABLE! In my opinion, he should tell them that he will either give money to put twords DNA testing, or he will raise money for it. Also, people who have studied serial killers need to be contacted, like those 2 men who were in town a few weeks ago. If the police are at a dead end, and all they have to go on is tips from the public, then they need to ask for some HELP !!!! Enough is enough, I'm tired of being scared to walk from my car to my apartment, or to the store, or anywhere else.

In the Reveille today, it said that the "Task Force" will be in the parking lot behind the Union from 11am to 7pm today taking tips from students.

I have a feeling that the tone of the rally today is going to be angry! And we have every right to be angry!
