I cannot feel you on the 'customers talking on their cell phones' thing. At my Walgreens pharmacy, the pharmicist and techinicians (but especially the pharms) cannot be bothered to help until they FINISH (not just hurry up and get off the phone) their personal phone calls or back-and-forths with each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS PISSES ME OFF, especially since I have to go today and pick up several Rxs on my lunch. And it hurts especially because the main offender is a sista (Lord, have mercy!). There is ONE tech who is really nice (who also is a sista, thank God!) and always apologizes each time they either screw up my name and put my stuff in the wrong bin or don't have my stuff ready.
And don't tell me to go to another Walgreens the two by my house are, incredibly, worse than the one by my job (can we say GHETTTTTTTO?). And of course, I have to use Walgreens as mandated by my health insurance. Can a sista just mix up her own Rxs using the pistle and bowl?
Having worked in service jobs much of my life, my main peeve is piss-poor customer service. Even if the previous customer was a crazy heffa, what does that have to do with me?
Sorry for going off; it's just that you touched a very raw nerve! And I definitely feel you on the other peeves.
