When I first discovered GC there was a thread on sorority pins on e-bay. In the bunch of pins I noticed two or three DST pins. I sincerely thought I was helping y'all out by alerting DST members in your forum. Then I go back to check and without warning or EXPLANATION my post was deleted. I was a bit pi$$ed because like I said, I thought you all wanted to know.

I went to my SoRHOrs and asked them on the SGR board what was going on. I felt that I could get a straight and honest answer about the situation from them, and I did. Then further in the post CT4 I think, finally gave me an explanation. I thanked her AND MOVED ON!!!! (Note: I posted this last year).

If you really want to read some isht, go to the ZPB forum and read read the thread on 'Zeta Phi Gamma'. For what ever reason REIKI went off on me. I tried the polite answer, then the 'fight fire with fire answer', then I just said, which is true, that I respect her opinion. NOBODY SAID A THING ABOUT HER/HIS BEHAVIOR/LANGUAGE to another GC member.

Honestly, I think it is in bad taste to bring this up like this. It seems very petty. I can think of some awful things I've heard about DST, AKA, ZPB, DDD, DZ, KAT, AXO, XO, AGD, ........ get the picture . You don't have to be creative to be nasty.

If you have received some hot PMs then keep them there!!!!! That is one reason to PM people!!
Well I am a member of neither DST nor SGRho, so I am not sure how credible my statements are in that regard...but I am a longtime member of GC and, having observed this little phenomenon, I feel I can offer a somewhat viable opinion.

sigmadiva, I just read Reiki's posts over at ZPhiB, and I found them to be completely out of line (and I posted as much). HOWEVER, I don't think that has much to do with THIS particular subject.

As far as the way things were brought up, I don't know that it is in poor taste. Sometimes things have to be harsh or abrasive to get people to think about them.

As for keeping pm's private, well, I am straddling the fence about that one. Since it was posted in public, I have to say I think it was in extremely poor taste to call someone out about their process simply because they posted something that had more to do with regional differences than her opinion.

sigmadiva, I am not disagreeing with you at all, I am just trying to show a different perspective.
