I'd be as direct and simple about it as possible. Talk to him alone (away from your friend/his wife) and basically say "I know you did it. I think it was rude an inappropriate and I don't appreciate it. Please don't do it again." Not emotions or hysterics. And no threats to tell his wife.
I'm assuming, of course, that these weren't super questionable sites that would require the autorities being alerted.
