That makes me so angry!!!

It is the police's job to "serve and protect"! If I need help doing my job, I'll ask for help, so why can't they swallow their pride and ask for help???? This isn't a hide-and-go-seek game to see who can find the killer first! Its sad to say, but I bet if this guy goes after a cop next, then they would ask for help with this case.

One of the girls I work with (here at LSU) thinks she was followed home on Fri. afternoon. She sees this guy on campus regularly, usually when she walks to her car in the afternoon. She said he never looked at her before, he would always look the other way. On Friday, he looked at her and said "Hello", she said hi, and walked past him. He mumbled something, she said it sounded like, "see you later". She lives in central, and takes the interstate home. She said he followed her on the interstate and he kept driving on the side of her, then he would speed up and get a few cars ahead of her, and then slow down in her lane. When all the cars in between them would go around him, she would get behind him, and he would stare at her in his rearview mirror, but he wouldn't even look at her when he was on the side of her. He kept speeding up, then slowing down, and she got his license plate number. He was driving a white Ford SUV. He followed her all the way to central, and turned off into ACE Hardware in central.

She went to the police on Sat. and told them what happend. When they pulled up his license, she read all his information, and they even printed out his picture. They wouldn't tell her why they had his picture. He had about 5 cars come up on his record, too. They said that he lives on Staring Ln. We looked him up in the phone book and it lists his address on Staring too, which is very far from central. Staring is kinda by LSU off Highland Rd. She said she is going to look for him today and see if he follows her.

In the LSU newspaper today, they quoted a professor from New York and he said that he thinks the serial killer has some ties to LSU.

Another thing, I think all the male LSU employees should give their DNA. This guy may not even have any ties to LSU, but I think that this investigation should start somewhere. I know the police would say it would be too expensive to swab every employee, but I think if they held a fund raiser at the rally's at the State Capitol, they could raise more than enough money.

Also, on the news this past weekend, they stated that the police COULD find out the killer's race and approx. age from his DNA, but they would have to send it off to a lab out of state and it could take a few weeks and they "DON'T KNOW IF IT WOULD BE WORTH IT TO SEND IT OFF TO ANOTHER LAB".
