Phi Gamma Delta was truly saddened to hear that brother Brian Matthew Kennedy (Purdue 1999), a USMC corporal, was killed in the helicopter crash that occurred on the Iraq – Kuwait border on Thursday night, March 20. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kennedy family. Brian’s father is also a Purdue Phi Gam: Mark D. Kennedy 1972. The brothers of the Lambda Iota Chapter at Purdue University knew him as a friend and a brother; now the rest of America will know him as a hero. Brother Kennedy made the ultimate sacrifice for his country, and for that, we will never forget him.
