Oh, but let me grace you with my roommate from hell stories! Oh where do I begin?

(Oh, I should let you know, I only lived in the dorms from May 7th-November 11th---of the same year!)

Ok, my first roommate was a friend of mine. And was really nice in letting me stay in her dorm, since I got kicked out of my house that same night. I stayed with her for about 3 weeks, until the Summer Housing Track started (we can stay on-campus year round). She wasn't bad... Sometimes annoying, and had some habits that I wasn't use to... But all in all, she was a real help to me, when I needed it.

Since we lived in an apartment (we have apt. not dorms) we had another roommate. Oh jeez! This girl... If she was home, she would stay in her room. Never showered. Never turned on the fan after she would unload in the bathroom. Never cleaned anything... One day, my friend was over (she lived next door to us) and opened my roommates door. Why was there a stinch that came lofting out of the room, that made everyone sick? And she slept there?! YUCK!

Ok, so then I moved down stairs... My roommates in the other room were alright. They blew up a bag of popcorn in my brand new microwave! I mean it was brand new... Had just bought it an hour earlier. And they didn't even clean it up! Yeah, so that's about all the problems I had with them.

Then there was my roommate... Well when I was moving my boxes into the room, I noticed that she was playing some sort of Spanish music... She is Mexican. Since I understand enough Spanish to get by, I started listening to the lyrics. To my amazement, it was saying, "matando gueros" which I pretty much took to be 'killing the whites.' Since I'm white, I took that offensively. (If that's not what it meant, please someone let me know... don't wanna be thinking that she really wanted to kill me! )

Oh, but there's more... (and this is extremely paraphrasing the whole story... if you were there, you woulda died... So much drama!) We always had guys at our house---in a friendly way, like playing cards and stuff---but on a few occasions, when the guys would get too drunk, and pass out, she would take them into our room to sleep it off. The guys would wake up to find her on top of them... One of the guys was a virgin, and ended up pressing charges against her. (did she get kicked out? oh no... there's more)

The other guy that had this unfortunate encounter with her ended up becoming really close with me. (I didn't know about her lil stunt she pulled) We started dating, and getting pretty serious. That's when she told me what she did, and how she thinks that she might be pregnant with his baby! WHAT?! So yeah, we ended up breaking up for many reasons... but her being one of them. (BTW, she wasn't pregnant, she was just jealous that I was with him... and she wasn't)

Ok, so this all happens within a couple of months... So by the time summer comes to an end, I've pretty much had it with her. The last string was when she told my friend that she had that first guy's info...(the one that pressed charges) Like ss#, license #, address, etc. and how she logged into the school's database, to see what classes he was taking, because she wanted to enroll in the same classes, so she could torment him.

I had enough... I stopped talking to her, and moved into the other room, once my other roommates moved out. She caught me in the hallway, getting ready to go to jury duty one morning (at like 6:30) and started screaming at me about why I didn't want to be her friend anymore. I just let her scream, as I finished getting ready, and finally said "Because you're a psycho!" when I walked out the door. By the time I got back that afternoon, she was gone.

The sad thing is about this whole situation... She has a 4 year old son. Poor thing's got a psycho for a mom! Thank goodness he lives with the dad.

Yeah, so my other roommates where pretty cool after that. I didn't really care how bad they were, because no one could be as bad as her...

I moved home that November, and that's all she wrote.
