You try fitting a 70"+ hip on a skinny statinary bike! You try walking when your ankles are perpetually swollen! I could BARELY walk up the stairs, so please don't call it a "little hard work". I was the walking dead!!!!!!
Second, if you substitute alcohol or heroin for food, would the alcoholic be seen as a moral failure as well? It's a form of addiction. Obesity is an illness. Stop persecuting people for weight! Christ, I am SO tired of that!!!!!! It is damn hard to stick to my weight loss goals everyday! But, I try. I am no less than anyone else because of how I look or what substance I chose to use to medicate myself. I have posted before what I suffered through, so I won't rehash it, but please, PLEASE, stop saying "It's just a matter of a little hard work!" Hauling a 1/4 ton body around was hard, too! But I did what I had to to, and I'm still going to get shit for it?!?! NO WAY!!!!!!!

Sweety I so now what you're talking about. Maybe not to that extent, cuz I'm half of what you were. I've tried every diet.... Adkins, Medical Weight-loss Clinic, Jenny Craig, working out, etc. Every single one of those diets guess what I lost? 10 lbs. After I lose the 10 lbs it's nothing at all. Well, I actually cheated on Medical Weight Loss.... you can't have someone go on 1000 calories a day, when they eat like way more than that normally. A friend of mine was on that too, and she said her doctor said to get off immediately cuz 1000 calories is not healthy for anyone! And when I used to work out while I was on another doctor's diet (a appetite suppressment before lunch and dinner, and a protein shake in the morning), I had lost the ten pounds, but then I worked out 2 hours everyday, and gained the 10 back in muscle!!!
It's really hard for obese people to exercise and do things that "normal" people can do. If my mom were to let me have some kind of surgery, I'd definately do it. They have this lazer lipo surgery that the radio station here did while on the air, and they said it was fabulous. They can only do a lil at a time, but believe me losing a lil here and there would help out greatly.
