Hey Now!...
The Kentucky Derby is a HUGE southern "old guard" event. It draws alot of fans & followers from the deep south. My friends used to go every year, and describe it as Mardi Gras with horses. Theres the 2 sides too the old southern take where there are dressy cocktail parties before the race, and the other side where its a crazy free-for-all in the Bluegrass State. It sounds fun, I really want to make it up there one year.
