That was my first thought when reading that. I am one of the more "milder" AKA's on greekchat. I don't feel the need to even give advice however I realized in your post you were confused and still are. Since I am SURE you must be suggesting that AKA being in your heart is something you think you want to be part of, I will give you the benefit of the doubt. AKA is in MY heart and it does not truly begin until after you EARN your letters (notice I said earn) so I take offense to that. I think my sorors and I are better judges on that than you. When I was a SF I used to see sorors "check" SF' s for what I thought was silly stuff. Now that I am a member, I know how serious and personal it means to be in my sorority. I would hate for you to be somewhere on your campus dressed from head to toe in pink claiming AKA is in your heart.
