I watched it from beginning to end last night. It was great!! I really loved the tribute to Spike. I loved it when the bruhs came out!! I was cheering and OOOO-OOOOP'ing it up while my Kappa man (the hubby) was rolling his eyes

JSU was all right, I guess. As a native and former Misssissippian, I fondly remember how they got down in the 80's. I think they toned it down a little b/c they were on TV.
Overall the show was great. Can't wait for the Essence awards!!
BTW, who's seen the April cover of Essence? I just got mine in the mail today and WOW!!!! Talk about tall drinks of chocolate!!!!! WHOO!!
