Five years ago I moved to Florida - the only person I really knew was a friend who didn't attend church on a regular basis. I was raised in the church and feel that actively working in a church is an important part of my spiritual growth. So I got a phone book -looked in the church section and for about 6 weeks I visited several different churches. Look for a chuch that is teaching the Word and see what other things are offered that are important to you (youth activities, study groups, etc etc...) I prayed and I let the Lord lead me in my choice.
Best of Luck and God Bless!

By the way, congrats and a big Skee-wee to all the new sorors that have posted
The topic gives the question away, I guess, but I'd like to ask for some advice on finding a church my husband and I can call home. There are SO many churches in our area, we are wondering how to choose one that we can feel comfy attending regularly and preferably(sp?) one in which we can begin to raise the little one once s/he arrives.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
APR
