When I was looking to drop down from a size 10, I actually ordered Susan Powter's (yes, the blonde crazy lady) "Stop the Insanity" program. I started watching the quality of food that I ate and started burning fat in aerobic activity 5-6 times a week. I'm now comfortable at a size 8.
Even though I am with child now, I still watch what I eat and do a lot of walking around campus. I stopped eating red meat about 3 years ago, and that helped as well--but that was a personal choice I made.
Sadly, I've found there are only three ways to lose weight...
1. get sick and lose your appetite
2. cut down on high-fat foods
3. get physical and burn the fat off
I recommended to you what I'm imposing on the hubby--ways 2 and 3 should help you reach your goal
