So now everyone wants to pretend that they've never used the word ghetto? Come on! To answer the orginal question, yes, there are certain mannerisms and speech patterns that would turn me off from a prospect, but in the old days, I would have gently corrected their grammar and/or behavior. Since now that could misconstrued as hazing, I would probably just silently observe the person to see if any more redeeming qualities presented themselves, then make my judgement/perception call.
