People should think of a Rush as a "formal declaration of interest" in a BGLO. That is why you are urged to attend as many of the organization's activities as possible, get to know the members, and do your research before attending a Rush. I have to agree with Pink Bunny that the person may be seen as someone who was rejected or choosing the sorority second on her list.
