Daruler, At my school it was not a good idea to attend another Sororities rush because a rush or interest meeting as we call it is not the same among Black Sororities as it is in White ones. Our interest meeting/rush means that you are INTERESTED in JOINING. If you are not interested in joining i don't recommend attending a Rush, there are other ways to find out if you are interested in a Sorority. We did not have informationals since it was the responsibility of the aspirant to seek out information and with so many interested candidates there is no need for us to try to interest anyone. Perhaps the Sororities on your campus see attending another group's rush as a sign of interest and of course no one wants a aspirant who was rejected or chooses their Sorority as second best. I hope that helps, this may vary from campus to campus.
