To answer Ms. Almond Creme, when you are "online" it should be sanctioned by the corporate office, the regional director, and university personnel (if you are an undergraduate). You are initiated at the end of the process after you have learned about the history, structure, and makeup of the sorority. Any activities that have not been sanctioned by the proper authorities are deemed illegal and could result in drastic steps if they are found to be in existence.
