I have found that my Sorors have a variety of experiences before their entrance into our great sisterhood. As we are an organization full of women with different backgrouds and experiences, I can say that their have been members that at one time served in an "anxiilary group" as you call them. If these groups can serve to help you complete COMMUNITY SERVICE and MAINTAIN YOUR GPA then their is no problem with your participation in them....
However, we constantly find young ladies who mistake these types of organizations for SORORITIES...that is when I (since I cannot speak for all of my sorors) find a problem with them... Keep in mind that these organizations ARE NOT Incorporated, and in some cases NOT EVEN recognized nationally by the sponsoring organization( i.e. Alpha, Kappa etc.). Ladies get carried away with developing call signs, hand signs, step routines etc. This amounts to disrespect in the eyes of some sorors. After all, we have worked hard for the right to do these things.
Participation in these organizations is a personal choice(just like your choice in a sorority)..just be MINDFUL of the WAY you participate in these organizations.
Sorry my messege was so long...hope this helps! Oh and by the way...its TWENTY PEARLS.
