I am back from initiation just now. Whew! It was loooong! But it is done now! I am now a proud member of Sigma chapter! There were 46 of us going through at the same time. Plus Sigma does some of its own things and so that added a lot to the time. But they were also very sweet and very nervous. I mean, they had a national officer and an alumna initiate at the same time. We had dessert afterwards and the girls were so nice they included me in some of the items they gave to their new members. Really sweet stuff.
Since my badge is on order, I got a recognition pin (little anchor) from my sponsor and so I am official!!!
My alumnae chapter gave me cards and gifts and even decorated my car. I am exhausted and I have to go to work tomorrow!!!
