I am very interested in becoming an AKA I am a freshman at a Historically black college and I am worried about choosing the right organization to join. No one in my family has pledged so what should I be looking at when I am ready to finalize my decision to pledge AKA? What are current AKA's looking for when they see new people? What's up with the lightskinned long hair AKA trend? Eventhough I fit the sterotype, why is it one?
