Aretha speaks! After weeks of stalling Aretha is finally speaking with authorites about a fire that destroyed one of her Detroit homes. Last week Aretha fired one of her lawyers who wanted her to keep quiet. Aretha says she wants to clear her name. Aretha was on tour at the time of the fire and she was never a suspect. It now appears that her 45 year old son, Edward Franklin and a bodyguard are going to be charged with starting the fire.
A producer for the Dr Phil show has died. A few weeks ago I mentioned how employees for the show were being overworked. A lot of employees are already undergoing therapy to deal with the stress because Dr Phil runs his employees ragged with super long hours. The producer was 28 years old and died of a heart attack.
KC Hailey of KC and JoJo and Jodeci fame opens up in the latest issue of Honey Magazine about his past relationship with Mary J Blige. KC says he wishes her the best with her recent marriage. KC says he and Mary broke up when her sister moved in. KC says at one point he didn’t know who he was dating, Mary or her sister. Hmmmmmm when did Mary get married? I guess KC spilled the beans.
Diana Ross is going to tell all. Diana has just signed a book deal to tell the real story of her life. A few years ago she wrote a book and it was fluff. In this new book Diana will talk about her drinking problem and how her family is helping her. She will also discuss the end of the fairytale second marriage to a Norwegian millionaire, her relationship with Motown Founder Berry Gordy and their secret love child. For years she told the world her first child was by her husband a white man, but her daughter Rhonda was the child of Berry Gordy. (What?! Like we couldn't tell by Rhonda's big a$$ eyes and teeth...that's Berry and Diana's genes mixed together. Diana should have shut her mouth about that lie
