-A bike chain, mind you not my bicycle, just the chain and lock
-A propane tank from the outdoor grill in my summer cottage
-my pocketbook in 8th grade which only contained my bus pass and lip gloss
-when I was very young (under 5) someone stole my beach ball
-my bathing suit
-my towel at a public pool in summer camp
-my shoes which I had been wearing at the time He returned them later thank goodness. I grew up on the mean streets of New York.

Items stolen from family members while I am at it:

-my sister's Air Supply tape
-my mother's car (not that unusual)
-my mother's coat from a restaurant on the Upper East Side. It was freezing out that night a few months ago. She left her house keys in her pocket, so the locksmith had to change the locks.
