I missed the entire season. I just happened to watch this latest episode, and then I was dozing. But, his lover or ex-lover, the guy that plays on Law & Order-SVU, set him up. He asked him to do something, I think associated with drugs, Beecher agreed. As soon as he left, the guy from SVU made a phone call and they caught him. Hope this helps.
