Don't worry about me saying anything. Trust me, the same basic thing is going on with my best friend and I so I know how it feels. I think in this situation that he isn't ready to be an adult and have a big boy relationship, and I think that if he isn't ready for that, then don't mess with it b/c to get into a relationship with a best friend, I think you need to be ready to settle down if things get serious, b/c if you break up, he's gone as a friend too prolly. But, if you bide your time and wait for him to grow up a little bit more, get some stuff out of his system and be a little more stable for that type of situation, then things will be much better on your relationship, friend or otherwise. I think to you also need to really think for 100% on what you want from him and your relationship and what you want from him regarding that. That's just my 2 cents from what I know about him and your relationship and from what I am EXACTLY experiencing with my best friend, Ryan (I think you've met him). Call me WHENEVER you want if you just want to talk about this or trash boys or whatever! I know I go nuts sometimes b/c I can't talk to my best friend about this one!!!
