About six of the 16 students were minorities, he added.

I am actually very interested in what happened @ the mediation session that made EVERYONE want to leave the class.
At first it seemed like the students were behaving a little over sensitive. But, really, when the entire class, the majority of whom are not minorities, want to walk out, you have to wonder what else might have been in store for the remainder of the semester.
Hopefully, she has learned something from this.
