I didn't care for Essence either.
The actress who played Bethany is named Robinne Lee. She's also a lawyer. She's also in National Security with Martin and was also in Hav Plenty.
I LOVED this movie!!
It was so romantic at the end that yes, I did cry!! Even my boyfriend liked it and he doesn't like romantic movies because "they all have the same plot".
On a side note, did anyone see the preview for Eddie Griffin's upcoming standup film "Dysfunktional Family"? The joke that got me was when he said that Michael Jackson now looks like the female monkey from Planet of the Apes? I was LMAO.
