Us and the TKEs are really close on my campus...probably because we're the only nationals on campus!
We've made attempts to mix with the other fraternities on campus, but things didn't really work out. There was an incident where some of our girls and their roommates attended a party at the Kappa Epsilon Theta house. One of the KEO brothers made an offensive remark and one of the girls (the non-AGDs) took her Corona and poured it all over him. Though she wasn't an AGD, it still looked bad on us because she was our guest. The president politely asked us to leave, and since then our relationship with them has been strained.
On the other hand, we get along great with our TKE brothers and we have many things in common. One of them being their crest that Emily Helen Butterfield designed...

They've been so helpful to us in the past year, especially with recruitment!
We're not included in the Inter-Sorority Council on my campus primarily because we're not local, but we're fine with that. We conduct rush differently, and our new member programs are completely opposite (ifyaknowwhatimean). Out of the 5 local sororities, 3 of them do well in Rush. I'm not big on rumors, but many girls have come up to me and said that the locals tend to ignore us because we bring in a good number of girls each semester. All I have to say is..."WHATEVER!"
But still, to improve Greek relations, we try to make every effort necessary to keep things cordial. That is why we're organizing every GLO on campus to participate in the first ever Greek Fair at Student Housing during the first week of Fall semester. I'm so excited I can't wait!
