we usually have "sisterhood" events about once every 2 months or so... it really all seems to bring us closer. one thing we did was called a bean auction. everyone is told to buy a $5 gift and wrap it to bring to the next meeting. then, the sisterhood cooridinator would hand out a bag of 50 beans to everyone. the sister hood coordinator would auction off the wrapped gifts to the highest "bean bidder".. i know it sounds cheesy, but after we did it, it was really fun.. we were all anxious to see what everyone got, and everyone got along at the auction. some other things we did were "goods & losers" at meetings. during the meetings, everyone would write on a piece of paper a good or a loser to someone about something that hapened over the weekend... example: "goods to kelly for dancing on the table w/ me at the bar"... or "loser to krista for falling down the steps at theta chi"... everyone has a good laugh and we all get to find out what each other did over the weekend even if we didn't all get to be together.
