Daughter was just talking about this-
Two things are possible. One, you two had a great conversation and as the evening was winding up-he said, "Hey, you're cool call me." Two, same thing but add, he REALLY wants to get to know you better. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. She doesn't call them. First, they TOO have fingers that can operate a dial. Second she knows she will most likely run into them again and if the conversation is as great the second time, she will consider it IF it's appropriate. She is good friends with a lot of different bands that aren't always on a promotion schedule. So when a guy says, "Call me the next time they play..." She will IF she bumps into them again and the "vibes" are good. This happens a lot to her and when they ask, "Why didn't you call?"
she tells them either she wasn't sure she would be able to make it that night OR flat out, she didn't want them to think she was "persuing" them. (Even if she was interested.)
I guess I'm just old fashioned, but without an event-GRUB, FORMAL-I don't understand why a girl would positively respond to
"Hey, call me." I know there was a whole thread on this at one time, but I really think the guy should initiate the first activity, unless there is a real reason for the girl to make that call. But, like I said, I'm old fashioned. (Doesn't EVERY school have a Greek Directory?)
