I have never officially registered with any party. I vote for individuals that I believe will make the best decisions, have good track records etc. That said, I tend to vote Republican more often than not. I'm right of center. Though, my boyfriend recently accused me of being a "closet liberal" hehehe.
I guess that's bound to happen for people who work in education...
