I agree with you ladies on the importance of programming such as the narratives. I strongly feel that more youth need to grasp that slavery(particularly in the south) existed fairly recently. I think a lot of people make sweeping generalizations about southerners, not realizing that the slave mentality lingers for many reasons.... I will indeed be watching the HBO program.
