I agree that the TKE's got shafted. As some of you know I don't exactly have high praises for the TKE's on my own campus. But, these guys were shafted hard by the school.

And ryan I hate to burst your bubble but I've talked to people who are either connected with our Nationals or who have worked for another GLO's nationals. That would be great if they came down and kept the charter on the wall. But, in all reality we must all remember that to nationals this is a business, business doesn't deal well with bad press whether it was self-defense or not. I mean look at O.J. he was aquitted and still alot of people think he's guilty. Nationals is most likely not going to keep a charter at a school without university recognition, unless they school has shown they are grossly incompetent in handling greek affairs. Such as the IFC has no real power and the school can't do anything about rushing and such.
Remember no matter how much brotherhood and sisterhood everyone shows, to nationals if you're making them lose money you're not a profitable venture. You are seen to them as a money making one. Look at the chapters in your org that have higher dues and are from richer schools, they usually get more money and support and what not from nationals where as the smaller and poorer chapters often get shafted in stuff.
