It would be helpful to know which school we are all talking about.
Ohio University is the only place I applied. It had (and still does) the reputation as being one of the best broadcasting (as opposed to Journalism -- although it is considered among the best of that also) schools in the country. It was also in state for me at the time, which made if affordable -- barely.
It is one of the most beautiful campusus I have ever seen (and I've been on a lot).
And, to be honest, it had a party school reputation, too. It was far enough away from home, but not too far.
I really loved my time there and go back as often as I can.
