i was the exact same way as many of you, my mom raised a lil princess.
until.... i spent a summer abroad in a '3rd world country'....then all of that business went right out the door.... straws?...condiments?....freshly cleaned towels?....air conditioning, fans and warm water were luxuries....and forget personal space...that only exists in the western world...i WISH the car doors locked...oh yeah...some cars didn't have doors...email?..my mail arrived weeks late......oh look, another power outage...it'll be pitch black for hours...
i still appreciate and use my exfoliating gloves while bathing and all. but, my life no longer ends without them.
