sweethearts
I am a sweetheart of Sigma Pi and Sigma Phi Epsilon. The Sigma Pi's at my campus choose one sweetheart for each pledge class. The pledge class has to all agree on one girl, and they are usually in a sorority. At the end of their pledging they take her up to Old Main and stand her up on the steps and sing to her their Sigma Pi sweet heart song.
The Sig Eps choose their sweetheart one each year and sing to her at their formal.
