I was a KA Rose
I can't say that there is anything that you can really do to get letters at a house. Some guys are pretty vicious, and if they sense that you are "trying" to get letters at their house, they won't give you letters just to make a point.
It's probably different on every campus. I personally had never dated any of the guys in the house. I hung out with them a lot, because I thought they were fun. When they made me a KA Rose, I was pretty surprised. Lots of girls had been hanging around the house, cooking food for them, cleaning their kitchen. Stuff that I would never bother doing. In the end, I knew it was because they respected who I was. Most of them are like little brothers to me anyways.
My best advice for you would just be to not try to get letters. Hang out with the guys, get to know them, and you might make some really great friends.
