I think the reason your chapter might not have the big/little relationships as strong is because y'all are so new. It's hard to act as a mentor or a guide to someone when you're flying by the seat of your pants yourself.
Did anyone propose you guys having alumnae bigs (although I don't know how many of your chapter alums are still, well, alive) or a big sister chapter?
