I went to an Alpha Phi collegiate meeting tonight, and I'm
exhausted! I remember what it was like to have that much energy and enthusiasm.. ah, youth!
The girls in the chapter sort of eyed me warily at first when I was introduced as my sponsor's "friend", but then when I was formally introduced, they welcomed me with open arms! I met a lot of really great women tonight, and there are a few who I know I'd really learn to love once I got to know them better.
Still no firm date on initiation, but there will be one ceremony two weeks from tonight.. I'm not going to go into detail about what it is, because I'm not sure if that's something that should be discussed openly.
