Well my cousin who just got married and is in the Army Rangers is not able to tell any family where he is, that makes me more nervous.
As for my friend, Eric, he is a marine reservist and he is so scared and nervous. Yes he joined to get money for school and because there was no chance of his unit being activated unless war broke out (this was in 1997 when we were still ignorant to all that was really going on). SO he never anticipated going to war, or being in harms way.
He has to be at Fort Knox at 3AM friday and they are being put on a ship in North Carolina Saturday sometime with no destination point being given. I am so afraid. This is my best guy friend, period!
