Thank you Sorors. I am very excited. It is funny, this all happened because I met a Soror in the airport cming back from ATL. She is also an attorney and she is a Social Action Commissioner. We clicked and started talking, exchanged cards and she told me she thought I should be on the steering committee for DD in NC since I live in the DC area. With her help I made that happen and when we were working on the workshops it just so happened they picked a topic in my area of expertise (I am staff attorney for life and health insurance at the Maryland Insurance Administration). All of this because I got to the airport early and sat down in the wrong gate while I ate my ice cream.
