North Koreans don't take too kindly to US military personnel snooping inside their 'socialist worker's paradise'. In fact, they're known to react with extreme violence at the slightest perceived transgression of their sovereignty.
I know a friend of mine I've known since junior high is probably somewhere in the Middle East right now -- he's a helicopter mechanic in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment ("Nightstalkers").

hmm... dunno. my friend said he was on his way to north korea... but i talked to my travelling friend and he said he was just going to korea in general. he trains in oklahoma and then gets shipped off for a year.
all i know is that it probably isn't a too friendly place this time of year and he is not looking too forward to it.
