Weird as it may be, I *love* both places I live! In Columbia, the weather is just right for me, warm most of the time, with a BEAUTIFUL fall season. Set perfectly in between the two major Missouri cities, so it's easy to go to either one anytime I want. The town itself is like College Town USA, totally perfect, the whole place is campus really, and I *love* it!!
As for Omaha, I was born here and lived here most of my entire life, Omaha is very much like a small town, even though there are so many people. It's pretty divided in two four sections, North, South, West, and East (Downtown). I live in West Omaha and here everyone knows everyone ONE way or another, but I love it!
Both places are fun to live, not nearly as exciting as NYC maybe, but if you know how to make your own fun, you will be cool!
