I need to learn how to change a tire and the oil in my car and how to jump a dead car battery. If my car ever dies on me, I'm screwed (luckily my car is just going on a year old, so it better not die on me anytime soon!).
I don't know how to drive stick, either.
I did my taxes last year, but I used the EZ form so there wasn't much to it. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do that again, so I'll have to learn how to do my taxes for real.
I want to learn how to knit...I don't know if that qualifies as something I *should* know how to do, but I already know how to crochet and cross stitch and all that, so it seems like I should know how to knit.
I recently learned how to change an electrical outlet and a light switch. (My grandmother, of all people, showed me.) I think my mom and I are going to start taking those Home Depot random home repairs you should know how to do on your own classes so we can do more stuff like that and not be helpless women.
