There has to be a thread just like this around here somewhere, I think I've posted in it before. Oh well ....
My mom was the cheerleading coach at our local high school, and she says that I was named for one of her cheerleaders that my dad thought was cute.
My dad says that's not true... he says they chose my name after seeing it on an ID bracelet in a jewelry catalog. (oh yeah, my name is Leigh Anne)
Either way, not a very impressive way to get a name... but it's way better than Ralphette. That's just wrong.
