Alright...let me say this...aside from my previous posting (how proud I am to be apart of APO), I must say that I agree with EGDeepher. I actually saw brothers in their letters "flashing" people off of balconies and throwing "APO Nat'l" beads at pedestrians below.
The point is this...there is no problem with drinking and having fun...as long as you do it in a matter that doesn't disrespect you or the organization you represent. It's one thing to have on your letters while drinking a little drink and enjoying yourself...but to be wearing your letters while drinking and starting fights or flashing people or getting arresting for doing something you had no business doing (which I did see by the way), is a whole nother story.
Regardless of what you do, you want others to look at the Brothers of APO and say good things about us or want to become members for good reasons...you DO NOT want people to see us doing things that makes our fraternity look bad in any way, shape, or form.
So my standpoint on the whole matter? I attended the conference, did some drinking, and had the time of my life! But I did it while showing respect for my fraternity and my fellow brothers...WHICH WE ALL SHOULD DO...NO MATTER WHAT THE RULES SAY!!!
