This Fall was the first time I ever played broomball, so I can let you know how we did it.
Broomball is basically like ice-hockey. You have 2 teams, 2 goalies and you have to hit the puck into the goal. From what I noticed the only thing different is that instead of using hockey sticks, we use sticks that have a little paddle on the end to move the ball. (All the ice rinks in the area provided these).
It was really fun... we played with only one rule : Do not get violent
We basically just went onto the ice rink decided which way we wanted to try to hit the puck and went for it. It was a super fun time! We paired active members with prospective members to make it more fun
