While "closer distance" relationships usually take 100% of people's efforts, long distance relationships need about twice the amount of effort to make it work. As a result, some believe that they can make things work, until they find that it takes so much more dedication, patience, communication and trust. My theory is that everything happens for a reason because it is a part of God's plan for us.
