I saw it tonight with my mom in Cleveland where part of the film was shot.
A good film but they focused a lot more on his present than his past. However it was positive to see a BLACK man who had a troubled past but did not let that keep him down.
Yall Derek Luke is a CUTIE!!!
His chemistry with Denzel was marvelous.
I recommend the film but once I finish reading the book, I will most likely recommend the book more. Mama said book was better.
