I am also applying for the consultant position and think it's a great idea to contact current consultants and ask them what it's like behind the scenes. They can provide you with valuable information that can help you decide whether or not the consultant position is where your heart lies.
One thing that all past TGC's have said in regards to qualities that would help in this position is independance. For some, it is difficult to constantly travel from one location to another.
All consultants that have visited our chapter since I've been an active member have said that it has been an unforgettable experience and one that they will cherish forever.
It is an honor to be chosen as a GC. With such a position it is important to really feel and be able to display constant energy and enthusiasm for Pi Phi for it is not something that you do, it's who you are.
