Example, Farrakhan..I have heard on many shows (ie CNN cross fire, etc), political, etc. that have pronounced his name as Far-a-kan. Normally, this mispronunciation came from the "side" that is AGAINST his views/ideology.
I get mad too when people mispronounce my name. So, I can feel Mfume on that one!

I agree. I remember George Bush sr. screwing up Sadam Hussein's name; and it sounded like he was doing it purposely.
